Hello, my name is Ziyi Wang, I also go by the name Stacey. I am currently employed as a full-time research assistant in the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, advised by Prof.Gao Huang.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Business Administration, concentrating in Big Data Analytics, from University of Orgeon in 2020. I further pursued a Master of Engineering degree in FinTech fron Duke University in 2023. Meanwhile, I am actively seeking open CS/ECE PhD positions for Fall 2025 in North America.

My research interest is in Machine Learning with a focus on Deep Learning Model Architectures, Large Multimodal Models (LMM), Generative Models, and Computer Vision.

[June, 2024] I am working on a Synthetic Data project to generate high-quality data for pre-traiend LMM models. I wish to release it and submit it to ICLR in September.

[May, 2024] Our paper MLLA was submitted to NeurIPS.

I am a HUGE fan of Texas Hold’Em Poker and I consider myself a very decent player. I am also active in sports, I play tennis in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
